Hi!

My name is Irene, I'm 23 years old and I currently live in the 'City of Light', Eindhoven. I am originally from a small village in the south of the Netherlands, which I still visit almost weekly.

I just obtained my MSc in Medical Psychology and I am currently working in mental health care as a postgraduate psychologist. I work with children and young adults up to 23 years who are currently struggling with life, due to their autism, ADHD, or simply because life can be hard and things that shouldn't have happened did happen. I have a great time around me, which makes this job even better!

In my free time, I love to go for walks. Luckily for me, there is a nice big park/forest close to where I live in Eindhoven and there is a lot of nature around my parents' place. Spending outside enjoying nature really relaxes me. I love to read when the weather is bad (which unfortunately happens a lot in NL). My favorite book of all time is 'The Bookthief' by Markus Zusak, feel free to share yours!

I am happy with any card you send me and I especially like cards with flowers and nature or something about your culture. I do have cats, so a cute card with a cat is also appreciated! But no stress, I appreciate you and any card you send me no matter what!

I love the idea of sending postcards to people you don't know. In a world where we do everything digitally, I like to send something a little more personal. So I'm looking forward to your postcard!
