Hi!

My name is Irene, I'm 29 years old ( yup, 1994 so 2024 is the year I leave my 20’s behind!) and I live in the Netherlands.
I live alone, in a cute little apartment near the house I grew up in. The village I live in, Arkel, is in the middle of the country and fairly close to Rotterdam and Utrecht.
I work in a preschool with 2/3 year old children which at times is very busy, but I love my job!
In my free time I love being creative, in 2024 I want to learn how to sew my own clothes. I also have a small face painting business.
Years ago I joined postcrossing because I'm interested in other people and their lives, cultures, and because I love 'real' mail. Recently I picked it up again! I enjoy sending nice postcards to a place really far from where I live and hope to make someone else, somewhere in our world, smile :)

( If you have a lot to tell and it doest't fit the postcard.. really doesn't matter if you're sending your card in an envelope, because I also love to read stories about your daily life or the place where you live!)
