About Sara...

Hey y'all!

(Check out my channel on YouTube! Address in the personal info.)

My name is Sara. I live in Jyväskylä, Finland. I study at the University and I plan to become an English teacher and, hopefully, also a Spanish teacher. Italian is also at the top of my list! :)

I love music. I've been playing the piano for 15 years now. I write poems, and I also dance regularly. Occasionally I also draw and paint. Theater and acting and drama are close to my heart and I enjoy going to the theater, especially to see musicals. I also act as a hobby, and combining acting with singing and dancing is something I cherish.

I read when I have time, and books that contain a clear message are my favourites. To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee is my all-time favourite, and Scout Finch is my favorite character in the book. I also like Jem, her brother, but I relate to her more.

I also study and read about history for fun. American history in particular interests me.

I love learning new languages, and currently I'm into Spanish and Italian, and I hope to become proficient in both.

I love animals. My family has two dogs, a boxer and a French bulldog. I used to ride a horse for six years. Currently I'm interested in lizards. Turtles are also cute :)

My favourite actor: Jerry Lewis. Especially during Martin&Lewis era (the Caddy, My Friend Irma, You're never too young etc)

I also like: Audrey Hepburn, Britney Spears, Lizzie McGuire (fiction), Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes, Ducky (Land Before Time), the little turtle from "Finding Nemo", the city of Taormina (Sicily), Calvin&Hobbes, Pogo (comic by Walt Kelly)

AND

I cherish intellectual conversations with people from different countries, cultures and backgrounds. Learning new things about life is something I absolutely love and one can often find me reading a book about, for example, neurology, autism, cinematography, various autobiographies (by actors, musicians, politicians etc.)... in other words, I read a lot of books outside my field (which is, basically, education and linguistics) and I consider browsing through Wikipedia a great joy and a great way to spend time and a great way to explore different scientific fields, as an introductory basis.
