Hubertien

Hi There! My name is Hubertien. I live in a small town in the middle of the Netherlands, called Tiel. I'm 32 years old.

Some years ago I completed my study at the university of Nijmegen. I followed the study Orthopedagogiek. This is childrens' psychology and parenting counselling. I like to help children with behavioral problems, such as ADHD or autism and, of course, their parents. Nowadays I work at the University of Nijmegen as a teacher. I guide students with their first steps in their professional lives. Besides my teaching job I'm currently working as a behavioural scientist for a organization for children who are lightly mentally impaired. I love being able to really help those children and giving them the guidance they need!

Things I like to do are reading (I love all different kinds of books), so a book recommendation is always welcome. Furthermore I love to watch movies and television shows like Downton Abbey, Bones, Reign, The Crown and CSI. In my spare time I also like to go shopping and I spend some time in the gym (not too much, though ;)). Furthermore, I love cats. My favorite city in the world (up to now) is Florence (in close competetition with Paris). I really love the culture, the people, the Tuscan food, and the shops there. Since my boyfriend lived two years in London, I used to go there a lot.

It would be nice if you could consider sending me something of my preferences listed. But, any kind of card is welcome.
I'd like to receive cards of happy things; like a beautiful landscape, flowers, dancing people, something romantic, colourful postcards... Also, I like vintage cards and seasonal cards. In octobre, you can also send a birthdaycard. If you need inspiration, check my faves. Self made cards are welcome, either. Maybe you can get some inspiration from all the things I like, listed above, too.

I don't like tourist cards or "humorous" cards (which I really don't find funny most of the times)..
