I'm a thirty-and-then-some years old history teacher and an archaeologist. I've set my roots in South-Western Finland, but currently I'm 700 km away from my home, working. I'm hoping postcrossing would brighten my lonely days up here and ease some serious home sickness. :)

I'm happy with any card you might want to send me, so pick what ever you feel like posting! And please, tell me a little bit about yourself, your day or the image on the card. But if you need any hints of what might excite me especially, here are some:

I greatly appreciate art, design and architecture, no matter new or old. My personal hobbies include vintage, pin-up & portrait photography, burlesque, arts & crafts, playing and listening to music and various physical exercise. I love vintage imagery of any kind, but the most interesting for me are the old circuses, carnivals and amusement parks, vintage styles and pin-ups, showgirls and productions like Ziegfeld Follies and old burlesque, vintage travel ads and so on. I adore exotic and tropical flowers, birds and scenery. Anything exotic and mysterious with tongue in cheek works for me, really. And I love kittens... :D

Some beautiful selfmade postcards, seasons greetings and amusing stamps would be wonderful surprises!
