Hello there!

My name is Henriët, I'm 22 years old and I live in a small town in the south of the Netherlands. I love traveling, trying out new recipes, baking, reading (if I find the time) and learning new languages. I've studied (Mandarin) Chinese for the past few years and I've lived in China for almost a year. I just graduated from university and I'm trying to find a job: Postcrossing is a way to escape all the stress that comes with that :)

I would love to learn a little bit about your country or culture, maybe some words in your language, some foods I should try, recipes, places in your country I should visit, etc. I would also love to read about you and your life! I prefer handwritten postcards, the more you write, the better! For me, the back of the card is as important or even more important than the front.

If you need ideas for what kind of postcard to send me, I especially like: city - town - landscape views, paintings of scenic sites, cities or nature, food or recipes that your country/city/town is known for, maps and cards from the Greetings from... series, books. However, anything you would like to send me will make me happy!
