I am in the mid-thirties and live in Hagen, a very unique midsized town at the edge of the Ruhr. I really do love the wildlife and nature around here: Four rivers, two lakes and endless forrests give me plenty opportunities to enjoy my interests in fishing, hunting and all other OUTDOOR activities.

And if it is raining, the art museums and our theater (I love opera...) keep boredom away. And last but not least the bigger cities like Dusseldorf or Cologne where only a couple of minutes away.

But INDOOR I prefer cooking and relaxing after dinner with a nice book in my easy chair. Especially Ernest Hemingway including secondary literature about him are on the top of my favorites. In summer a accompanying glass of chilled German white wine (I prefer dry Riesling) makes it a perfect relaxing experience.

But the most of my time I am spending for travelling around the world. I have visited something between 30 and 40 countries yet, and what I do love most is Turkey for summer holiday and Taiwan for all other occasions :) Arriving as a stranger and leaving as a friend is the most important thing for me. The landscape, historic sites and culture in general are interesting - of course - but discovering the "real" country beside and behind the tourist's hot spots and getting in touch with the local people: That is what it is all about for me.

So be advised: If your postcard will be too interesting – I might visit your town soon :) :) :)
