Hello, my name is Helga. I live in Riga, capital of Latvia -a small country near the Baltic Sea.
I work as a store manager in a fashion store.
I love travelling, inside my country or to another countries, going on a trip by bicycle. In autumn I like to spend my time in forest, Latvians usually are going to forests and are picking up different mushrooms, I also love it. In summer time I like to spend my free time on the beach, playing volley ball or even better - somewhere in mountains - hiking :) Mountains are my biggest LOVE :) By my education - I am a geographer, I love geography :)
My father is Ukrainian, I love this country a lot and it means to me a lot! So if You are from Ukraine, please write in Ukrainian, I understand everything :)

I would like to receive postcards with:
= mountains/hills
= the highest point of Your country
= beautiful landscapes from Your country
= old houses (somewhere from the countryside)
= pug dogs
= marmots/groundhogs
= local food
= folk costumes (tell me something about them :) )
= waterfalls
= Moomins, Rolf Lidberg trolls
= Royal families
= something related to fashion (because I work in a fashion store :) )
= birds
= aurora borealis - northern lights (for me - one of most magic things ever seen)
= rabbits (but not animated)
= Michael Schumacher (really, I am a fan of him since he won his 3rd F1 champion title)
= if You live in Ukraine - I would like to receive anything, related to culture, landscapes. Especially I wish to receive a card from Khotyn, where my grandmother lived, there is a fantastic old castle.
= if You live in Finland, You can send me cards with reindeers or Lapland landscapes :)
= Scandinavian landscapes - especially from Iceland ( I am in love with this country....)

But if You have no card from my whist list - do not worry :) You can send me something You would like to receive Yourself :)

I prefer to receive cards without envelopes, because I like to have a nice stamp on the card :)

In this time when most of us are sending letters via e-mails, it is a wonderful priority to send simple postcards and it gives so much positive feelings when we receive them... :) I love when my postbox is full :)
I like this "postcrossing.com" project a lot and can not wait to get again a new card or to send it :) Postcrossing indeed connects the world - lets be part of it :)
