Hello Postcrosser,

Nice to meet you on postcrossing.

My name is Tineke and I live with my family in a village in the Netherlands. Our children are 12 and 14 years old. We have a small garden where we grow some of the vegetables we eat. I love to see things grow.

If you don't know what to write, please tell us something about your country or about yourself, maybe what you did today. It's great to see and read something from you, from so far away. You make us happy when you write as much as possibly fits on a postcard.

After participating in postcrossing for a little while, I start to get favorite subjects of postcards like:

- self made postcard (I love creativity!)
- anything related to agriculture, like ricefields,
agricultural machinery or farms
- demonstration of old skills
- something typical of your country
- lighthouses
- houses made of wood, or with round towers like old castles
- drawn pictures (no commics)
- photography (no touristic postcards but I do like views from above)
- 3D-postcard
- witches, elfs or other magic
- a tall tree
- squirels
- insects
- beautifull colours or a picture that makes you happy (tell me why)

When I was young I used to collect stamps. I still appreciate it a lot when you sent a special stamp on your postcard.
