About Hanneke...
My husband and I live in a nice house in Nijmegen. I am a speech & language pathologist and work as a professor in language education since 2011. My hobbies are: hiking (especially in the mountains like Himalaya and Suisse Alps; we've been on the Kilimanjaro last spring), traveling around the world, reading, gardening, eating out, listening to music and watching movies. When I was a little girl, I lived in Curacao, Tanzania and South Africa with my family (parents, sister and two brothers). I know some words in Swahili and I can read Suid Afrikaans fluently. I like postcards from all over the world. I also like postcards from landscapes, plants, arts or animals. I like stories about peoples lives (what they do during a normal day, what they eat, what they do for living, etc.). When I'm traveling, I always try to visit some schools and speak to children and their teachers.
