Hello there!

I'm a PhD candidate at the University of Turku studying Middle English and medieval manuscripts. I'm interested in languages & linguistics, book history, literature, art, music, fantasy and mythology, animals (especially cats, horses and other equines, cervidae (deer), owls and corvids... but I like pretty much all animals!), Scotland and the Celtic culture, drawing & painting, mail art, collecting & customizing My Little Ponies, etc. I love films by Disney, Don Bluth, Tim Burton and Hayao Miyazaki as well as Hollywood classics from the 1940s & 50s, among others.

I particularly enjoy pictures of animals or nature, art postcards, homemade cards (especially handdrawn or painted!), black & white photographs, vintage cards, and anything that shows bits and pieces of different cultures and their history, like traditional costumes and folklore, famous places or people etc. I'm less interested in multiview tourist postcards and humour cards, but I'm not too picky; you're welcome to choose any card you like! :)
