About Gwen...

Hi there Postcrossing-fan!

I´m Gwen, a 32 years old psychologist from Holland. I worked at a school for children with special needs. Now I'm focussing more on acting, like impro theater and training - acting (to teach about social skills in role-playing for example).

Recently I moved from Amsterdam to Lisse, a place where the famous 'Keukenhof' - with all the flowers - is!

Things that I like: travelling, learning about other cultures, arts, vintage, enjoying the sun, picknick at the park with friends, festivals, theatre, trying new things, latindance, flowers, drawing... and ofcourse... receiving mail, especially nice postcards from different coutries all over the world ;)!

Offcourse I like every postcard I receive, but I really love the following things:

- Unicorns!
- Colorful cards (especially pink or multicolor)
- Vintage, antique or retro style
- Reprint of old advertising posters
- Black and white or sepia-toned photo
- Colorful street view - Grafity - street art
- Cute characters from your countries' picture books
- Typography
- Funny cards
- Nice sayings
- Kitsch kitchen
- Disney, Alice in Wonderland, Hello Kitty, My Little Pony or other typical cartoonfigures from your country
- Spiritual / religous (of any religion - Holy Maria Statue or Buddha)
- Romantic, sweet cards
- Cupcakes or sweets
- Strange, Original postcards
- Single view-cards from your country
- Cards related to (cultural)festivals or celebrations in your country
- Folklore
- Sunsets and sunrises
- Rainbows
- Flowers - especially waterlily and cherry blossom
- Butterflies
- Mineral stones
- Glitter
- Art
- Johnny Depp
- Old school
- Cards that relate to things that I like above :)

I put all the cards that I´ll receive on my wall, to create a nice piece of multicultural-postcard-art in my living room! So help me to create a really great colorfull project ;)

Maybe you can write something down about what you did that day or something typical about your country (like a local artist, festival, dish, recipe, animal, flower, movie, a little drawing from the national flag etc). I also like little sayings or poems or in your language (with translation).I would like to know the day, date and local temperature. And I love funny, special stamps!

I´ll be glad to receive any card you picked to send to me :)!

So surprise me! Thanks and Happy Postcrossing!

Gwen
