Hello world!

My name is Gré and I live in Dordrecht, close to Rotterdam in the Netherlands. I am 7 years younger than Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain ;-) and still ‘ruling my own household’. I’m married and we have two sons and two little granddaughters.

Last year I’ve bought my first computer. It opened a whole new world for me, and thanks to postcrossing I can make contact with many interesting people, just like you!

My hobbies are reading (especially thrillers and detectives), collecting small antiques (art, glass objects) and painting. Every week I have my ‘painting club’ with some other ladies and our very experienced teacher Bart, and we do have small expositions regularly. My favorite subjects are Dutch landscapes, the old streets and buildings of the city of Dordrecht and its riverside, and typical Dutch animals like cows, sheep and goats. My avatar is one of my own sheep paintings!
