I'm a retired school teacher. My hobbies are genealogy and stamp collecting, so please use commemorative stamps. If possible, please put an airmail sticker on the card; they seem to come faster then. I'm currently working on a stamp exhibit about the Red Cross, so anything related would be most welcome. I live in the historic Cariboo area of British Columbia and I've written a book about Steve Tingley, one of its main stagecoach drivers during the B.C. and Cariboo Gold Rushes of 1858 and 1861. I like postcards with an historical connection to your area. I also collect stamps and postcards related to firefighting, textiles, stagecoaches, the U.S. Civil War, Picasso, and the Red Cross.
