Giulshan

Hi! My name is Giulshan. I'm from Sevastopol, a lovely city on the shore of the Black Sea. Now I live in Alanya, Turkey, and now I can see the Mediterranean Sea anywhere I go. I am a translator and an English teacher. Me and my husband Ismayil are happy to be a part of this lovely postcrossing community.

I love music (all sorts: from rock and deep house to rap); it gives me lots of inspiration. I enjoy painting and reading. I don't have any favourite author though I quite like the style of Neil Gaiman and Ray Bradbury. Perhaps, the only writer I totally admire for now is Carl Sagan. He was not just a great scientist and writer, but an awesome person as well.

Me and my husband are on the same tune. He's an ex-firefighter, so he'd be interested to see something of this theme. Also, he's keen on cosmos, astrophysics, engineering and IT.

All right, if you are not sure what to send us, here's my help. We'd like to receive unusual postcards (who wouldn't:)). Something like this:
- different beautiful views (especially marine views),
- animals,
- your city or something about your country,
- rock-music, or music generally,
- cinema, series (Star Wars, Mentalist, Game of Thrones, Stranger Things, Godfather, etc.),
- Al Pacino (that man is a particular kind of art),
- books, comics,
- the space, anything connected with astronomy,
- art, paintings by famous (or not really) artists.

The postcard with a picture of Kurt Cobain will be definitely my favourite one! :)) If you know Carl Sagan or Neil deGrasse Tyson, we are definitely on the same page ;)

Actually, we'd be on cloud nine to receive any postcard. Just write us about yourself, your life, interests, hobbies, your thoughts. What are you doing right now? What's around you? Maybe, some music is on? Who's the person you look up at, if there's one? Or what has made you feel happy, special or blue today?
