Galant

Hi, my name is Wojciech Galant (for friends: Wojtek) and I live in Poland in south part of my country called Silesia. It is industry region (with Coal Mines, Ironworks - and also with new technology factories) complex of few cities (Gliwice, Zabrze, Katowice, Bytom, Ruda Slaska...up to 19!) close to each other like one big city.

From Gliwice to the north direction is near (100km it's about 65 miles) to castles route at Jura Rocks -great place for rock climbers, walkers and bicycle riders. From the west Gliwice is surrended by forests and mountains at south (100km). That's why all my free time I spend outdoor, that's why I love 4x4 cars.

Free time I'm spending with my friends at sport activities.
During Spring and Summer cycling (working days near my city, weekends in the mountains or other places).
Winter - skiing and skitouring, sometimes with my dog (Irish Setter named Mrowka <Ant>).

Sending postcards I started when I was studing at Silesian Technical University. I used IRC to communicate with other people and after chat I exchanged with addresses with person I talked. It was "few" years ago, but still I've got postcards from great places of our globe.

It's time to send some postcard again. I hope that it makes my country and culture closer to you.

Postcrossing is.... great fun witch makes our globe more friendly.

About postcards I'm sending: I'm trying to find the best views of my city or region I live in, I use not typical stamps - rather I choose the best are at Post Office withe the rule "I'm sending postcards I wish get"
Especially for postcrossing I made stamp "Air Mail" - the custom one , wait for postcard from me :o).
