Hello everybody, I live in Leverkusen, near Cologne in Northrhine Westfalia. I'm on retirement since June 2011 and have a few hobbies, e.g. visiting theater, opera and cinema; reading books; listen to music; meet family and friends. I like to go on vacation to see other areas of Germany. I like to be with my family as I have two sisters (one of them unfortunately passed away in 2017) and five brothers. I am member of a language course called "English for Senior citizen".I would like to get some more practice in writing and speaking english. At the age of over 70, I took part in a demonstration for the first time at the end of January 2024. They are currently taking place in many large and small cities in our country and are directed against a right-wing extremist party, with the slogan "Never again is now!" is used. We must all show our colors to preserve our precious democracy.
