Dear Postcrossers,

It's been a while that I'm part of the community. Receiving and sending postcards is so nice!
But what I realized just recently was that the World is quite unfair. We, Postcrossers, are so privileged to have the finances to spend on this hobby. Thinking of the places that are currently in war, in the 21st century, makes me extremely sad! Thinking of the children who are now starving in Yemen, for example, makes my heart ache. I wish I could do something. I wish WE could do something as a community! Can we? If you have innovative ideas, please do share.

Sad thoughts aside.

♡ I have quite a few hobbies:
- painting anything & everything, but mostly nature morte & vivante
- singing a capella under the rain or the shower
- crafting gifts, decorations & all kinds of other objects.

♡ I am very fond of :
- languages, especially Japanese, Chinese, Thai, Sinhala, French, Bavarian & these that are not so popular, such as Hawai'i, Kyrgyz. I don't speak these two, but they sound nice so if one day it happens that I receive a card from Hawaii or Kyrgystan with some phrases and the transcription I'd be super duper happy.
- mandalas and relaxing my mind while drawing them,
- Zodiac signs, especially if they are hand-drawn in creative way,
- new philosophies & inspirational quotes
- exotic & far away cultures, represented by the means of beautiful landscapes, typical architecture, or clothes
- classical music and instruments
- travelling
- animals, above all Siamese cats & horses
- flowers, especially orchids & tulips
- spending time in nature
- everything vintage & antique
- Bavarian culture, cuisine & architecture
- rainy days & Dutch-like landscapes
- pretty little romantic villages
- Christmas markets & glühwein
- Yoga & meditation.

Please, write something about your hobbies, favorite movies/books, favorite inspirational quotes, the reason why you chose the postcard. Also, I'd be more than glad to have the postcard written in some other language than English (or at least a phrase or two in your native language). :)
