Hi there!

My name is Malou, I’m in my thirties and I live close to Amsterdam, together with my boyfriend and our 14-month-old son.

What I like the most is travelling! I love being in another country, get to know different cultures, meet foreigners/locals, try local food. This is also one reason why I like Postcrossing!
I used to be a big fan of backpacking but now I'm more a flashpacker. ;-)

Other things I like: reading, go out for a coffee/lunch/dinner, go to festivals, visiting friends, take pictures and share them on Instagram, chai latte, the smell of sunscreen, Netflix.

What kind of cards I love:
- cards from my Favourites!
- beaches, local people, map cards, local food from where you live
- illustration cards
- puffins
- street art
- Frida Kahlo
- vintage reprint advertisements
- coffee/tea/pie
- tattoos
For the people from Finland: I (still) love Kaj Stenvall! :-)

Love it when you decorate the card with stickers and/or washi tape! And in my opinion Postcrossing is all about handwritten cards.

What I less prefer; cards with cats, dogs, horses, home made cards/photos, meet up and free adcards and cards in an envelope.
But there is nothing that I don't want to receive. It's just nice that you took the time to pick a card for me, write and send it.

You really don't know what to send me? Just send me a card you would be happy to receive yourself. :-) if you don’t know what to write:
- tell me about what you did today or what you’re plans are for today
- your favorite food
- a book tip
- your favorite season
- your favorite city
