Hello dear postcrossers,
My name is Frans Jansen and I live in Heemstede, a small green village with a lot of big trees and surround by bulbfields, close to the worldfamous 'KEUKENHOF'(Kitchen garden) also known as the Garden of Europe, which is visited in spring by approximately 800.000 toerists from all over the world.

I am interested in literature, politics, history, geography but especially in flora and fauna, in particular birds!
I am also an enthusiast photographer (leica Canon).
You can post me every card you want but, if any, I prefer postcards with:
- art and buildings from your region
- native birds special to your country
- trains and railway-stations
- still-life paintings
- aurora australis/borealis
- nature scenery
- lighthouses
