My name is Maria. I am 26 years old. I live in Petrozavodsk (Republic of Karelia) - one of many provincial towns, which great Russia abandons with. I’m happily married. Have a child. And a cat.

I’ve heard on such project as postcrossing only recently. Though for many people that already may be not simply a project, but a lifestyle. :)

By nature, I am an adventurer, and living routine life like many people do: home-family-work, I feel the need of new impressions, communication with fascinating, interesting, creative and extraordinary people. That is why I am here!

Frankly speaking having studied the pages of other users, I was at a loss a little! I was very surprised to know how many topics of cards there are: flowers, animals, cities, people, Gothic, castles, painting, art, nude, nature, theatre, dance, romance, anime, cars, sports, music, mysticism, sights etc.
Having slightly fantasized, I identified with the topic of cards that I would like to receive:
- Wedding (with the image of people)
- Romantic,
- Oriental dance, tango,
- Carnival,
- Waterfalls,
- Retro cards,
- Reflections of objects/people,
- Advertising,
- Anime,
- Mosaic,
- Watercolor,
- Funny cards,
- Flamboyant,
- With the logo of your town, country...

I wish the card not to be a static immovable image of the subject or man, but I want it to convey motion, impulse, mood, feeling, emotion, thought, passion, the beauty of the moment.
You can write to me about everything: the place where you live, your hobbies, about life, about joy or grief (unfortunately it is part of our life), funny or vice versa sad stories from life, about your country, books, everything that is interesting to you, that you are now captured with and impressed by.

I like:
- To be muffled up in blanket with a cup of hot sweet tea with lemon, with a curious fascinating book (I am open to all genres). My favorite classic books are «The Master and Margarita» by Mikhail Bulgakov and «Pride and prejudice» by Jane Austen. I can reread them constantly;
- To listen to the silence of the northern autumn woods, breathe in frosty air with the smell of pine needles and fallen leaves;
- To listen to Russian rock music and classical music (depending on the mood);
- To listen to rain tapping on the window, to admire the flash of lightning and thunder, and feel unrestraint nature;
- To walk barefoot on the beach along the coast when the waves touch my legs and retreat back gently and humbly;
- To dance in the rain;
- Watch on the tongues of flame sitting by the fire;
- To mix with friends and make new friends;
- A gentle touch of his hand when I go next to my dear man;
- To be witty, quibble, and tease;
- To dream ...
