Hi!
My name is Fija, I am 24 years old and live in Lelystad (closr to Amsterdam) the Netherlands.
It's not a huge city, it has around 70.000 inhabitants.
To be honest the last 4 years I have not lived in my home. I have travelled around the world.
I have been to Australia for 2 years, have worked here as well in several remote places (Thursday Island and Milparinka). Also in the Outback I met my boyfriend Gianluca (he is Italian and loves cooking, lucky me!). We have since then travelled together.
After Australia we went to Europe for 2 months. We have visited both the Netherlands and Italy together. Here is where I started learning Italian.
After this we went to New Zealand for 1 year. We also worked in several hotels and restaurants and travelled all over the country. Amazing! I love the nature there!
Then we flew to South America! We started in Buenos Aires, Argentina. We have spend 6 months in SA, 1 month in Argentina, 3 months in Colombia and 2 months in Brazil. I loved it so much! The people are so nice and the beaches, the nature, the Amazones, the food, the language.. it is all so great!
After this we flew to Italy. We spend some time with my boyfriends family and then we went to Naples, Italy for 5 weeks. Here I did an Italian course and my boyfriend learned how to make pizza for real!
Now we are back in the Netherlands. He has found a job in a pizzeria and will start soon working there full time.
I will start to study Tourism Management in September in Amsterdam!

In my spare time I love to read. Especially books about psychology or psychological thrillers. It really interests me. Also I love to learn Italian and Spanish. Both pretty Latin languages. I am still a beginner but with my course Tourism Management I have to study Spanish and with Gianluca I study Italian.
I also play the piano a little. More for fun then anything serious.
Also I love going on long walks. I like to be active in nature. Hiking mountains and camping!
I have also done skydiving TWICE! So scaryyyy but amazing experience. Like scubadiving in the Great Barrier Reef. The water holds so many secrets!
