Short note: my girldfriend writes some of the postcards for me in order to practice her Russian.

Hello! I am Julia. I'm 26 years old. I am originally from Russia but now I live and work as a Finnish and German teacher in Alta, Norway.

I graduated from the University in Russia as a translator and linguist some years ago. I adore Finland, its culture, language and people. I love Northern countries: I have visited four of them and soon I am going to Iceland.
I'm also keen on music (jazz, the Beatles, songs from Iceland, Kings of Convenience), photography, children books and European literature.
I can imagine lots of stories in my head, but I am good only at translating other people's tales. I would love to live in Moominland.
I want to see ocean one day:)
