Hi there!

My name is Emma, I'm 22 years old and I live in a city called Nijmegen, located in the Netherlands. I have two younger sisters and I study Chemistry at the Radboud University. I like Chemistry because you can find it everywhere around you, in the breaths you take, the streets you walk on and even the postcards you send! It's really interesting to be able to understand the world around us.

I like to play chess, that's one of my major passions. I participate in tournaments and train a lot. I also like to read books (Stephen King, or novels) and I'm really into decorating my room with nice pictures, fluffy pillows, pictures, matryoshka dolls and scented candles. And I drink a lot of tea, so send me a tea bag from your country if you like :)
I also like learning new languages. I'm learning Spanish at the moment, so if that is your native language, please write your postcard in Spanish! I'll try to translate it.

Furthermore I watch TV series, like Orphan Black, House of Cards and Narcos. My favourite movies are Harry Potter, Argo, Saw, Les Choristes (the French among you will know) and The Great Gatsby. My favourite food is sushi, I could eat it every day. And finally, I really love space. Any postcard with a spaceview gets my favourite! As a child I always wanted to be an astronaut (it's still a dream I have), the universe intrigues me and I'm excited about what's all out there still to be discovered.

My nostalgic interests are The Muppet Show, Tin Tin and The first snow of winter.

Despite my scientific background studying Chemistry, I'm really into languages and learning them. Please write something in your language on the postcard and learn me something! :)
