Hello! I'm Alyona, and I hail from the beautiful city of Riga, Latvia. Currently, I'm immersed in the world of architecture as a student, where every building tells a unique story. I'm also on a journey to learn French and Japanese.

My heart beats for everything related to architecture and urban design. Whenever I find myself in need of inspiration, I turn to the works of architectural giants like Zaha Hadid and Shigeru Ban. Interestingly, I also draw inspiration from the world of fashion, particularly from the iconic Christian Dior and Virginie Viard. I have a theory that architecture and fashion are intricately connected, influencing each other in unexpected and fascinating ways.

A few years ago, I had a rhythmic side as I played the drums and marimba. Unfortunately, my busy schedule doesn't allow me much time for it now, but the memories remain cherished.

For me, there's no better form of meditation than taking long walks along the sea. The calming sound of the waves have a soothing effect on my soul.

I also have a deep love for modern art and retro illustrations.
Traveling is another passion of mine, as it allows me to explore new cultures and landscapes, gathering inspiration for my architectural endeavors. What's particularly exciting for me is how Postcrossing acts as a form of virtual travel. Through the exchange of postcards, I'm transported to various corners of the world.
