I am Elke, I am Dutch and I live with my husband and three children in Diepenveen, a small town in the Netherlands. I am very fond of learning all about wines, therefore I am working in a winery and taking courses to enhance my knowledge. My absolute favorite hobby is cooking and I collect cookbooks. I must have more than 200 by now. I also love reading, especially in wintertime by the fireplace, obviously with a nice glass of wine! We have two dogs, a yellow and chocolate Labrador retriever.

We, as a family, like to travel and are interested in other cultures. I have lived abroad for a quite few years myself, and as a family, we hope to see a lot of countries still in the years ahead of us.

Since we seriously want to be part of the "offline world" I signed up for Postcrossing. I love to receive postcards, not any in particular, but let me know why you chose the one you sent.
