Hello from Ottawa!

My name is Elena! I'm thrilled to be a part of the PostCrossing community and connect with people from all around the globe through the simple joy of sending and receiving postcards.

Living in Ottawa, the capital city of Canada, I am surrounded by the beauty of historic landmarks and the charm of the Ottawa River. I take pride in sharing glimpses of this picturesque city with the world.

One of my greatest passions is learning new languages, so feel free to send me a postcard in either, English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian or Romanian! I find joy in exploring the intricacies of different cultures through their native tongues. It's like unlocking a new world with each language mastered. Alongside this, I have a deep appreciation for travelling. Exploring new places, meeting people from diverse backgrounds, and immersing myself in unique experiences are some of the things that fuel my wanderlust.

When I'm not studying languages or planning my next adventure, you'll likely find me with a camera in hand, capturing the beauty of the landscapes around me. Whether it's the changing seasons, a breathtaking sunset over the Ottawa skyline, or the tranquillity of nature, I love freezing those moments in time through photography.
