Hello!

I am Julia, I was born in Republic of Karelia which is the North of Russia. If you visit our republic in summer you will have an opportunity to forget about darkness because in these places summer nights are white like in St. Petersburg (where I live now as a student).

I write short stories and poems, draw portraits of my own characters (unluckily, I have never attended any art school so I am just an amateur artist), continue improving my English and learn German and Latin. It is true that I adore reading and cannot live without it. I am especially interested in Dostoyevsky`s novels, he is one of my favourites authors. That is why I chose such a nickname (Dosya is a shortened version of Dostoyevsky).

I am a collector of notebooks and gambler. If you send me an old playing card or a beautiful thin notebook I will be the happiest girl in the Universe. Please do not ask me about politics. It is not my cup of tea and discussions of it can make me bored.

You can send me a postcard with a picture you like, I have no preferences and will be glad to get any card. But please write several words about yourself or your city/town/village in it. In addition I would like you to recommend me a book you think I should read.
