About Dorine...

Hi everybody!

I came across Postcrossing by chance on a rainy day and I though it was a brilliant idea.

My name is Dorine, I'm 23 and I'm currently living in Quimper (my hometown, situated on the french west coast) for the holidays.
If I'm lucky, I'll be an hospital's director student next year.

I really enjoy music and, for some reason, I can spend hours watching the "Hey you, what song are you listening to?" 's videos on Youtube. So, I'd love if you could write down some of your favourite lyrics.
Otherwise, you can tell me something about you, a thought you had this day, things that make you happy or inspire you, or even things that you don't understand or that piss you of.
I love listening to stories.

I'll be more than happy with any postcard I will receive but if you need help choosing, here are some of my favorite things:

- paintings (Monet, Renoir, Hopper, Reimer, Miro, de la Hyre)
- illustrations from children's books
- music's related stuff
- cities by night
- dancers
- anything that interest you if you esplain me why on the back
************************************************

Have a good day/morning/afternoon/evening/night!

Ps: Just realized I say I love music without sharing my favourite artists!
Here they are:
- Arcade Fire, Noah and the Whale, The Lumineers, Regina Spektor, Radio Elvis (for their "cinematic music" that always moves me)
- The Wombats, PUP (for the "perfect-to-scream-in-a-car-and-make-you-think/laugh-at-the-same-time" effect)
- Gaël Faye, Milk Coffee Sugar, Lomepal, Casseurs Flowters, Disiz la Peste, Oxmo Puccino (cause french rap rocks)
- Abd Al Malik, Ben Mazué (for their relevant/poetic way to tell stories)
- Creedence Clearwater Revival, Cat Stevens, Leonard Cohen, The Rolling Stones, Simon and Garfunkel (my mum's heritage)
