Hello!

I am Dorien and I live in Leiden, a city of 121.000 inhabitants, 44 kilometers/27 miles from Amsterdam.
I have been working in a nursing home for 17 years now.
I am in a relationship (not living together) with a very nice dude, I don't have any children, but I do have a cat and(she's 20 years old and still going strong, more or less). I am very fond of her! I love cats and animals in general!
I like reading books and newspapers, watching movies and visiting all kinds of museums and beautiful cities throughout Holland.
I also enjoy seeing my friends and my sister in Rotterdam.
On a day off I like to go and sit in an eatery, have a sandwich, drink coffee or tea, read a book or newspaper and look through the window to the people passing by.

Oh, and I like proverbs and jokes from other countries! Please translate a beautiful proverb or funny joke out of your language into English!

I love to drink tea, so you could send me a tea bag in an envelope. I would like that very much!!!

And my birthday is the 27th of July, please send me a birthday card.:) Or christmascards in December!
