About Ulrike...

Hallo,
My name is Ulrike and I´m very happy to join this beautiful and interesting postcard-crossing. It would be very nice to receive many lovely postcards from over the whole world!

Here are some things I like to do: I love the music and to play the guitar and the electric guitar too. I enjoy the classical guitar playing in the orchestra. I like very much to build nice things of wood, as a hobby, and make socks of wool, and needle work. Sorry that my english is not fine.
I`m married, I have a husband and a son and a daughter. They are already grown up, and I love my 4 cats, They are called Mia, Miro, Jacky, and Baerli, that means little bear, Mia is a small young tiger cat; We were allowed to adopt one more lovely cat called Miro from an animal shelter- he is wonderful and gives me kisses all the time, and has half a tail. Another Tom cat from a shelter lives with us: Baerli, He ist the best friend of Miro. The white cat Jacky lives with us since one year.

We live in a small house with a garden. My husband is a member of a honeybee club and is getting honey twice a year. Our village is small, is near the river Rhine in the north-west part of Germany where we live since 28 years. It is a very flat land without any hills.

All the day, I`m a letter-carrier and bring letters to the people, that´s my job. And now I look forward to post cards...

You can write every kind of card you want; I am very happy with everyone. I would be very interested to see the town or landscape you live within, also pictures of cats or music things and instruments. Pictures of flowers are wonderful too, or beautiful nature cards....and I love to get christmas cards in December...and I am interested in swaps too.

Much greetings and best wishes from Ulrike
