About Denis...

Hello there.

I'm Denis from a middle-of-nowhere city in Russia called Penza. I'm 30, and I work as frontend developer, which means I'm making websites.

Besides postcrossing, my interests are:
- collecting stamps. I'm mostly focusing on European countries, but not limiting myself to any particular topic or country, at least for now. I just like stamps!;
- saving nice looking handwritten envelopes addressed to my name. I got over 35 different European countries and about 30 different countries around the rest of the world. So I'd be happy about getting one from your country too! Even if I have one from your country already, I'll still find place for it :);
- collecting unused/clean postal cards/open letters/carte postales. I've got about 300 now, from all over the world and different years and centuries;
- taking pictures with film and digital cameras. I have had few old USSR cameras like FED, Zorki and bunch of Zenits;
- traveling. I've visited 17 countries so far, and working on visiting more. Also I'm trying to send postcards to friends, family and postcrossing members during my travels, and sent postcards from 10 different countries on postcrossing;
- listening to obscure and underground music. I'm mostly into shoegaze/post-punk/post-hardcore/different kinds of metal, but I'm not limiting myself with just those genres, and listen to a lot of various stuff;
- watching movies (I like Nolan, Fincher, Ritchie and Edgar Wright a lot) and reading (lately reading a lot of Remarque).

I'd prefer postcards with
- flags;
- architecture;
- space (and anything related to it);
- art in any form (music, movies, paintings, etc);
- Formula 1;
- Porsche;
- maxicards;
- made with unusual paper or materials (wooden, metal, plastic, etc);
- unusual postcards in general (3D, unusual shape, or just in general if there's something weird or original in that postcard);
- handmade postcards.

If you don't have anything from my list, don't worry about it. I'm okay with any postcard of your choice.

Also it'd be nice if you write something about yourself / your city or country / anything you feel like you want to share on your postcard.

Anyway, the main point of postcrossing for me is in getting those small surprises and stories from different places all over the world, so I'll be happy with anything you send :)

Thanks for reading and have a nice day. Peace.
