Hi Everyone I joined Postcrossings so I can learn something about the people and places around the world. I am interested in art, historical places and events, ancient history, traditions and customs. I love being outdoors and spend a lot of time gardening. I love nature and enjoy bush walking. Australia is filled with interesting places, plants and animals so I would like to know about these from your country. I'd like to hear what it is like about where you live and anything that you like to do. I love vintage postcards and handmade is fine. I work as an Early Childhood Teacher and share the postcards with the children I educate. We have started a scrapbook album project together so the postcards can be looked at repeatedly. We like to find out where the postcards come from and some interesting things about those places. The children often draw pictures of maps and things they see in the postcards. The children are just beginning to learn to write letters so we often role play writing and sending postcards. With everything so technology based I think it is important that children learn of different ways to communicate. It is fun to be cultivating our next generation postcrossing members.
