Hi,
I am an Australian mother of two. I live in Brisbane, capital city of Queensland. I love quilting, crafts, reading, music, movies, gardening and learning about other cultures. I have collected postcards since I was a child and would like to receive cards from all over the world.

My favourite postcards are:

• India - Taj Mahal/Golden Temple/Punjabi Cities & Culture/Gurdwaras
• Castles/Palaces
• Lighthouses
• Old sailing ships
• Historical buildings
• Culturally significant architecture
• Mosques/Cathedrals/Temples/Pagodas
• Monuments/Statues/Fountains
• Ruins/archelogical sites
• Museum Treasures
• Famous Artworks:
(eg van gogh, renoir, pre-raphaelite, romantic
scenes,odalisques,harems,women and flowers)
• Paintings of flowers/animals/country scenes
• Geishas
• Matryoshka Dolls
• Vintage ladies
• People in national costume/historical dress
• Dancers
• Market/street/village scenes
• Anything to do with the heritage of your country
• Animals that are unique to your country
• Close ups of flowers from your local area or country
• Pretty feminine things
• Teacups, teapots, vintage tea advertising
• Mushrooms, strawberries, cherries, apples

If you do not have any cards like those I would still be VERY HAPPY with any cityview, landscape view of your country or whatever type of cards you have access to.

I would prefer not to receive free cards or advertising cards (exception for vintage tea/soap/beauty product advertising). I don't mind homemade cards if you are an artist or very creative and think you can impress me or can make something within the themes I like :)

If you can I love my cards to be written on and STAMPED with a pretty stamp if possible. If you can't think of anything to write I would love to hear something interesting about you or your country, a short poem, quotes or song lyrics that mean something to you, your dreams or even a secret.
