About Ulrike...

Hello dear postcrosser,

My passion are postcards in unusual shapes, so if you happen to have any I'd be very happy about one. Otherwise don't worry, I love to receive any type of postcard that means anything to you - this could be a picture postcard from the place you live, one with an animal you love, your favourite food, a piece of art you appreciate, a place you did or would like to spend your holidays at, your favorite band/musician...

I'd love it if you could write a few words (e.g. a greeting etc.) in your own language, unless its German or English of course... :-))) Or if you have a favorite quote or a really funny joke I'll be delighted to hear it...Or just write something about yourself, or about the place you live in or just anything that is important to you right now or that comes to your mind. If you are not a big writer, don't worry and write a greeting and the ID. :-))

If it's Easter or Christmas time, it's always great to receive seasonal postcards. If there is a postcard about a special feast in your country I am also very interested in that. I also don't mind advertisement postcards, when they're really nice/funny/beautiful/cool etc. and you also would be happy to receive it.

Abou me: We live a small village a few km south of Darmstadt. Beautiful landscape, next to the forest and just perfect for the kids. Currently I'm working from home due to my two kids (6 and 9), both the loveliest boys one can imagine :-))). Apart from that I love reading Jussi Adler Olsen, Val Mc Dermid and other thrillers and quite a lot more on my Kindle if I find the time for it. By the way - if you got a good reading suggestion, especially thrillers It'd be great to find it on your postcard (I love reading books in English, so the book does not need to have a German translation).

I am very much looking forward to the mail I am about to receive! It' so nice to get to know people from all over the world, even though it's just a little postcard-

Love, Ulrike

P.S. I love it when the postcards are dated! Thanks!
P.S.S. TO ALL STAMP COLLECTORS - IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN GERMAN STAMPS TELL ME I KEEP CUTTING OUT USED STAMPS FROM LETTTERS AND HAPPY TO SEND YOU A FEW :-)
