Hello! Thank you for finding my profile, I hope it will be interesting for you to read it.
As you could see my name is Darya and I'm from Kazakhstan. Kazakhstan is one of the largest country in the World but I know that many people have never heard about this country. I visited many cities in my country and can tell you about some of them. The most beautiful for me are Almaty and my city Ust-Kamenogorsk. Astana is the young capital of the country, it is modern and large city but it is located at the bid steppe without any mountains thats why there is very windy weather and thats why I dont like our capital. My favourite one Almaty is veryveryvery beautiful city. There are big mountains, modern buildings and warm climate. When I traveled around the country I met a lot of good people from Almaty and now we are good friends.My hometown Ust-Kamenogorsk was founded at the merger of two rivers Irtish and Ulba. There are tall mountains around the city and clean lakes near it where we can swim at summer and skate at winter. Skiing is very popular in my region. I'm skiing for 5 years. Altay Alps is one of the most famous ski base in the country and it is located near my hometown.
I'm 17 years old and learning at school and I'm graduate this year. Next year I will start university studying in Russia. Why not in Kazakhstan? The main problem is language - I don't know Kazakh. I learn it in school but I dont like it. Thats why I don't know it. And I think Russian universities are better than Kazakhstan's ones. I learn English at school but I haven't any practicate because I don't travel a lot. My first large traveling was last summer. I went to Bulgaria with my friends to tooke a part at the International Olimpiad in Linguistics. It was very nice and memorable trip.
I'm interested in rock music. When I was 16 my brother tooke me to the Skillet concert and it was amazing. I really love it. My dream is to see Rammstein concert. I know it will be really big show with a lot of fire, slam and Till :) My favourite bands are TFK, TDG, Slipknot, RHCP, Linkin park, SOAD and other.
I'm found of reading books. My favourite wtiter is Chuck Palahniuk with his Fight club and short stories. Exactly he is a genius. My favourite books are 1984, a clockwork orange, brave new world and many dystopias.
I like to do smth by my hands. Friendship bracelets making are one of my favourite hobby. If you are interested in this hobby too please write me about it. One of my idea is sanding friendship bracelet to all countries. I think there is a part of me in every bracelet I made.
I'm veryvery interested in direct swaps.
I prefer interesting postcards with strange and fearful pictures. Scary stories about Dracula, UFO, ghoasts and zombies are my favourite ones.
If you don't know what to write at the postcard you will make me happy if you will write a scary legend about your town. My favourite legends are about children suicide and their ghosts.
