Hello.
My name is Katrin. I am 17 years old. Now I'm first year student of the Institute of Journalism in Minsk, capital of Belarus.
I really like my city. I not consider myself a lucky because I was born and lived in the capital. On the contrary, I would really like to travel on my unbelievably beautiful country. It's in it borders, without going abroad.
I dream to work on the radio. I like this incredible feeling when sitting in a quiet studio in front of a microphone, I can deal with the whole country. My next impossible dream - to explore space. But the key word here - IMPOSSIBLE.
I am interested in science fiction, I like to watch movies and TV series in this genre. My favorite TV series are Stargate, Firefly and The 100. However, I am not a fan of such popular series as The Big Bang Theory, Game of Thrones, and Sherlock BBC. If a movie that I see, makes me a lot of positive or negative emotions, I am writing a review that makes fans from near abroad hate me and my opinion. It's a lot of fun;)
In music I prefer alternative rock, folk-rock, a little bit rock 'n' roll. My favorite bands: Queen, Akute, Valentin Strykalo, Lumen, Spleen, Thousant Foot Krutch.
I really like reading books, but now I didn't have enough free time to do it. The last book I read was depressing stories by Franz Kafka. Besides, I enjoy philosophy, psychology and socionics.
If you don't know what to write on a postcard, then I suggest you play the game. Write a 5-7 facts about Belarus. Do not use the Internet, books and other information sources.
