Sometimes you need to try something new in your life. So this happened to me. Postcrossing has become a very interesting hobby for me. After all this is a joyful expectation, interesting postcards and stamps and of course new friends around the world.
I think you have already read my name, but if not, my name is Daria. I'm married and my husband Sergei and I love to travel very much and want to do it as much as possible. (I'll try to send postcards not only from home, but also from different places of the world that I'll visit).
In general, I'm a fashion designer of clothes, but there are so many interesting hobbies in the world, unfortunately I don’t have time to do everything.
Some of my hobbies are:
- embroidery (cross-stitch, satin stitch, beadwork... ready to embroider everything, the main thing is to have time for that)
- reading books (science fiction and fantasy - my favorite genres, I'm ready to read from morning till night)
- collecting (metal bottle caps, coins, music boxes, magnets)
- watching films and series (more often it is a genre of fantasy and science fiction, but I can watch something else)
If our hobbies are the same or you have some other, don't forget to write about this a couple of lines in the card, please, I'll be very happy.
I think after a while the postcards you sent me will turn into interesting collections, so I'll write you some topics I'm interested in:
- creativity (the process of creating something);
- embroidery;
- clothes, shoes and accessories;
- beautiful old buildings, bridges;
- mountain and water landscapes;
- paintings by artists;
- maps and flags of your country;
- illustrations of fantasy books and films (Harry Potter; The Lord of the Rings; The Witcher and etc.);
- national food and recipes;
- football (for my husband).
You can also send a postcard on a topic you like.
If you stick some interesting stamps I'll be very happy too.
