Sihng-yih (Dany), a guy who likes reading, music, photographing (coule be) and recording his life by writing, maybe in the future will try to do some videography in his blog.

My hobbies🎹📻:
I'm currently challenging to read Quincas Borba of Machado de Assis; Sometimes also like to appreciate some world-classic paintings and, musics like JAZZ(esp. Ragtime), Bossa Nova, Samba and the pop one from Japan(Back Number, 尾崎豐, Green Apple, DISH etc) and Brazil (esp. Tropicalismo). As for the musicians or singers, I like Chico Buarque (SAMBA E AMOR), João Gilberto (DESAFINADO and O PATO), Tom Zé (Se o caso é chorar). Renato Russo (A Carta) and Scott Joplin (Maple Leave Rag).

Something new recently📜:
I'm also fond of linguistics, especially sociolinguistics, phonetics and phonology. Recently I've been devoting to design a scheme of romanization for my mother tongue (to be honest, mainly just for fun😁), which is a little bit similar to Cantonese. Considering that my foreign name is DANIEL, I'd like to name it Danielish (Danielês in Portuguese and 丹尼白話/湛江白話 in Chinese). I wrote a blog to record it. E aí, tudo bem? Meu nome português é DANIEL e sou da China. Falo chinês, inglês e português (BR). Eu me formei na literatura inglesa e portuguesa em 2021 e agora trabalho como um revisor de português em tempo parcial.

Adoro leitura, especialmente a literatura brasileira, e atualmente estou conquistando as obras de Machado de Assis. Quando estiver disponível e de bom humor, gostaria de escutar Samba, Bossa Nova, Choro, MPB e Música Popular Cantonesa. Paula Fernandes, Renato Russo (Legião Urbana, sim!), Chico Buarque e João Gilberto são todos meus favoritos. Se quiser, poderia me escrever em PORTUGUÊS.
