Hi, postcrosser!
I'm Yura, 18-year-old student from Belarus. I study at the geography faculty and in future I'll become a geologist.
I like traveling, reading books, watching films and anime.
This words are not a rule, you may send for me any card you want and believe, that I'll enjoy it:)
There are a lot of tourist postcards in Belarus. I think, that in other countries it is also so. For my opinion, this type of cards is not very interesting. When we don't no, what we should send, or don't want to think much about the good postcard for any person, we send the tourist postcard for him (I mean local sights, national cuisine and wear). So I don't very like it. But if you know a place which really must be seen, so I get this card with great pleasure.
The types of cards I specially like:
- something geologic. I very like my future profession and would like to have postcard acording with it
- picturesque landscapes
- animals
- views of the big cities and famous places (cathedrals, statues, squares, bridges and any others)
- views of space, planets, galaxies ets.
- films. My favoutite films are about Harry Potter, Star Wars, Sherlock, Fight club, Mr. Nobody, The Shawshank Redemption etc.
- and one special card. I would like to get a postcard where the workers were having dinner at the great high
