I might be old-fashioned but personally I love the idea of someone taking the time to choose a nice postcard or a special paper and just sit for a moment somewhere to write a small thought. It s a great feeling to come home after a long working day, after a happy day or a lonely one and find a thought, a sentence, a card, that traveled from far away, in my mail box. I would love to hear about anything, about your country, your life, your dreams, hopes, fears. I always wonder about what's my place in this world and would love to hear about yours, about who you would like to be or what you would like to do, who are your role models, anything. I love surprises, unexpected moments, running, walking with bear feet on the sand, or on the grass, learning new things, seeing new places, I love foreign languages, reading, singing, sitting on an armchair wrapping a cup of hot tea with my hands, writing and dreaming. I love water in all its forms but probably my favorite is the sea being to me the closest idea of infinitive and hush. Finally I love trains and buses and crossing countries through them, watching outside the window, waiting for the sunset while an entire day passes by, while towns, people, lives pass in front of my eyes like in a movie, so close and somehow far at the same time. I love travelling and spend a long time in a new country. I lived in Latvia for almost a year and I miss it all the time, I lived in the US for a year as well, I ran in the desert and slept on the sand under the stars, one of the most amazing things I have ever done in my life. I did few work-camps and traveled to several countries around Europe. Unfortunately lately I haven't been travelling that much so in a sense your postcard will be my vessel around the world, the wings I wish I could have when life keeps my feet stuck on the ground while all what they would like to do is flying...I would love to receive any card hoping that it will tell me a little something about you, a dream, a memory, a sentence you like, a saying, anything that inspires you. No matter what you will send I would like to thank you. Your card will certainly make my day, the time you took to write it will be the best gift , whatever image you will choose will be a window on your world for which I will be very grateful.
