I am an American expat living in Xiamen, a small city (three million+) on the Southeast coast of China. We, my husband and three dogs, moved here last year after having lived in Beijing and Shanghai.

Exploring China - the history, the culture, the food - is an amazing adventure. The added benefit of being able to explore other parts of Asia is an opportunity of a lifetime. The people we've met from around the world have enhanced this life-changing chapter in our lives and given us wonderful friendships.

In addition to exploring China and Asia I enjoy photography, creating scrapbooks, cooking, baking, tennis - love tennis!, and learning new ways to be creative. Reading, is another pastime I enjoy; especially the "Game of Thrones" series of books. I have also been fortunate enough to have volunteered with some great organizations helping out animals, children, families, and the elderly.

No real preferences in regards to the postcards you send but I do like city- or country-specific postcards. Postcards with cultural or historically significant views from your region are also interesting.
