Hello out there! My name is Julia, I´m 28 years old and I studied History, Art History and German. At the moment I´m about to write my dissertation in Ancient History. My hobbies are music (especially (folk) punk, metal and classic rock; some of my favourite bands are The Dropkick Murphys; Flogging Molly, Social Distortion, The Real McKenzies, Bad Religion, Volbeat, Die Toten Hosen and Die Ärzte), Karate, Tai Chi, scouting, my cat and traveling. Moreover I enjoy reading - comics as well as novels and plays. Terry Pratchett, Edgar Allan Poe, H. P. Lovecraft, Shakespeare, Lewis Carroll (I LOVE Alice in Wonderland), J. R. R. Tolkien, Mary Shelley, Neil Gaiman and Walter Moers are just some names I really have to mention when it comes to my favourite literature. So what else can I tell you? I´m a very big fan of Doctor Who and Sherlock and I´m interested in theatre and modern ballet. I really love the sea and ships (especially sailingships). So I´m looking forward to recieving a lot of postcards from beautiful places all over the world :-)

I don´t prefer a special type of postcards. As I have already mentioned above I´m really into history, foreign countries, different cultures and art. Because of that I would appreciate:

* cards showing your country
* special customes
* peaces of art
* (old) books
* everything about theatre or ballet
* Alice in Wonderland
* TV-series like Doctor Who, Sherlock, Game of Thrones etc.
* ships
* mysterious places / fairies
* vintage style
* comics
* animals
* funny cards
(or just take a look at my favourites ;) )

But if you don´t have a card of one of those types it doesn´t matter - just surprise me :-)

And if you don´t know what to write, I´m really happy about some inforamtion about your country and its traditions and history or just your favourite book and/or band/movie/quotation - I´m always happy to get some new tipps and inspiration =)
