Greetings!~

My name is Kate, and I'm from that little Baltic State, called Latvia!~

I've decided to start postcrossing to get to know all kinds of people. We live in a small world, after all, so why not prove that?

I do speak English, although my native language is Russian. And yes, I can speak Latvian too, if you're interested in this language. ^^
I'm trying to learn Japanese, and I do remember my German pretty well. ^^

I'm into very many things, like cats - I have FOUR of them, so.. yeah. X). Then - Japanese culture - YES, used to watch anime, but now it's only doramas & TV-shows, because it helps to learn the language in a more authentic way!~ Another point of interest would be world mythologies - it fascinates me, how there are so many of them, yet they often happen to be so similar! Well, let's add history to this category too then, and world languages, since I'm a linguist. What else? Gaming (oh, YES), music (all kinds) and good books (define 'good books' though). Sounds general, I know, but this will have to do. I know I'm not the only one, and I hope I'll find a proof to this!

As to postcards, well, something

- related to the culture of your country (panoramas, landscapes, sights)

- language related (prints, alphabets, jokes, quotes)

- cats! coz everybody loves cats. ^^ big cats, like tigers or cheetahs will also be much appreciated!

- foxes! all kinds of them, from small to big ones, from black to white ones!

- mystical beings and mythological creatures. maybe specific to your country!

- Japanese stuff! oh, pretty much everything, from traditional art to pop-culture, like anime, or celebrities (Arashi-Arashi-for dream!~), so.. yeah.

but in general - I will be very happy to receive anything that is of relevance or of interest to the sender, of course. Coz it's the feelings and the experience that matter. ^^
