About Polina...

Hello world!

My name is Polina, I'm from Russia, I really like this project and I look forward to your postcards!

Few words about me: I studied journalism at Moscow State Univercity, I enjoy reading, phography and culture. I keep achatina giant snail, called Ulysses, as a pet, and we together will be happy to receive postcards with snails^^

But my greatest love is aviation. Most of all I like biplanes of times of the First World War, they seem esthetically beautiful for me. I dream to get on an air show to Le Bourget. I like books written by autors, who are pilots, such as Saint-Exupery and Richard Bach. They inspire me.

As for other transport, I like trams - there is something magical in them. I collect postcards with trams from all over the world!

I also have a small collectiol of postcards with lighthouses and I'll be very happy to receive a postcard with the lighhouse on it, they are so insperational!

I like animation, animated films very much, both classical Disney's and Pixsar, Ghibli's (Miyazaki), Czech animation (Krtek), Simon's Cat and russian cartoons of course. Unfortunately, I can't draw, so I have great respect for those who have such talent. I wish I could draw to create cartoons. Especially I like water-color drawings. I would like to look at your cities and towns on the postcards represented in such style.

As for the fictional and real characters and celebrities, I'll be very pleased to receive postcards with the Little Prince (Le Petit Prince), Ampelmann (Berlin), Che Guevara, Ludwig II the King of Bavaria and Gagarin =)

It doesn't matter for me will be on the postcard ordinary stamp or not, but when I receive a postcard with a nice unusual stamp I become very happy! I take photos of such stamps and show them to my followers in instagram: http://www.instagram.com/chepolly/‎

Besides English I speak Czech and German, so if you know those languages, you can write me on one of these languages. And of course I'll be glad to receive postcards from my Motherland written in Russian. Пишите, буду очень рада!

And the last, but not least: you're always welcome in Moscow. If you're going to visit Moscow and need somebody to show you the city or just to spend time with, you can write me and I'll always find time for you, because I'm willig to show not ordinary places of interest, but really unusual and magnificent city.

Cheers!
Polina

P.S. if your card to me seems to expire, please leave a message!
