Hello, I am Claudia and work as a teacher at a vocational school in Germany.

I live in Stade, a small town close to Hamburg with its many harbours and container ships which I enjoy watching when they load and unload the cargo.

I love reading scary books (mainly by Scandinavian authors) and watching movies (of course scary ones as well;) My favourite director is Alfred Hitchcock.
I also love movies with Barbara Streisand and among others enjoy songs by Silly, a German band.

My life is really nice, I share a house with two people (one from Cambodia and the other one from Bosnia) and a dog, a Hovawart; and once per year, around January until March, we host a French student learning German and working in a nearby company as a trainee. I love to travel to foreign countries and learn foreign languages and get to know people.

I could even imagine to work in a foreign country again (like I did in the 1990s when I lived in Venezuela for half a year) teaching maybe German as a foreign language.

I am very curious about receiving postcards of any kind, which express something about how and where you live or which kind of attitude/humour you have.
