Hello everyone!

My name is Katrin or Kat or Kate or Katya or how it sounds in your language. I like almost every variation of my name.
I don't speak English but I have two friends who help me to translate. I hope that I can learn it a little.

I am a physicist. Unfortunately, I don't work in my profession. I was a teacher and I liked it but in my country this job isn't well-paid.

I have a crazy cat. Its name is Shelma Zadranets - Cherry Littlebottom in Russian, a character from a Terry Pratchett’s books.
I like Terry Pratchett very much. I’m fond of reading in general.

Also I really like dancing, playing the guitar, singing, walking, taking pictures with my phone, playing mind sports games. I write about different foolish things and do a lot of foolish things every day.
I collect everything connected to sailing vessels and owls.

I am interested in almost anything in the world, so you can send any type of cards: landscapes, animals, cities, art and cultural objects, sport (except soccer), etc. I’ll be pleased if you tell a little bit about yourself, about your hobbies, about something important to you, what you like, what you read, what has impressed you lately most of all.
