Hi everyone!! My name is Cassie, and I joined postcrossing because I love the simple things in life. Its so rare these days to receive anything thing in the mail besides boring junk, and sometimes bills. So it really is a little bit of happiness receiving postcards from all over the globe! Plus, I get a little insight into the world of strangers, and can share a bit of myself as well!

In terms of postcards, Im not too picky...however, I do really like originality. Something different than the run of the mill, wish-you-were-here, typical touristy stuff. I know some cities its hard to find unique things but whatever you send I will love. I wouldn’t be opposed to a homemade card, or a free card, as long as its something interesting or funny.

And as much as the picture on the front is a great surprise, the message itself can really add a lot. I really love to feel the vibe of the person coming through. I like interesting word references or popular sayings in your native language, funny anecdotes, poems, rhymes, jokes, or your favourite quotes. Your favourite places, recommended books, movies, food, or a great recipe. Little doodles, drawings, or even stickers!! Lets see some creativity!

I love to practice my language skills so feel free to write to me in either Spanish or English (or even a few words in new and different languages)!!!

So anyways….im pretty thrilled every time I receive a new postcard, and I really enjoy sending them. I cant wait to hear from you!
