My name is Victoriya and I'm from Vinnitsa Ukraine .
My city is very beautiful , fast-paced and live here are very nice and kind people )
The main sights of my city :
- In the square Kozitsky is the water tower , which served as the basis for urban water supply and mistakenly considered a fire watch tower . Built of red brick towers above the neighboring buildings, and its upper area you can see a panorama of Vinnitsa.
- Museum-estate of the founder of the field of medicine N.Pirogova located on the outskirts of the city. Renowned surgeon settled here in 1859 and lived until his death. Next to the estate is a museum pharmacy with the interior of the operating and reception, as well as church - mausoleum where the embalmed body rests Pirogov.
- Jesuit monastery, whose construction began in 1610 , consists of a church , kolleguima and another , younger buildings - Convict (translated from Latin - the hostel ) . Common name of the complex - the Mura , because the walls of the monastery were also fortified value . Today, the church was renamed to Transfiguration Church , located at Convict Museum , and serves as a collegium location for the archive.
- Lyadova Uspensky cave monastery is located in the Vinnitsa region and , according to legend , was founded in 1033 by Anthony of the Caves , who founded the Kiev Lavra.
- Manor railroad barons von Meck Brailiv located in the village , on the banks of the river moat . In her three visits the great Russian composer Pyotr Tchaikovsky wrote some opera " The Maid of Orleans "
- ROSHEN Fountain ( Vinnytsia fountain) - the only one in Ukraine and Europe's largest floating fountain , built in the river Southern Bug
