About Y.M...

Hello fellow-postcrosser,

I am and always was a big fan of sending real mail. You can imagine how happy I was when I found postcrossing. I started here in 2008, but have been inactive for quite some time. Now I will change this.
I am a 23 year old woman from the south of the Netherlands, I have studied history and am a big fan of reading, painting and poetry. I have a non-identical twinsister and a big brother. I would describe myself as a creative, optimistic and curious person. So if you send me a card, I would like to have a card with:

-beautiful nature of your country (I love a picture of woods/trees)
-an interesting picture of daily life in your country (certain way of dressing, typical food, habits, famous symbols, a unique part of daily life in your country, etc.)
-A card with sheep on them. I collect sheep cards :-)

I do not like cards with baby animals or cats.

I like to look to the beautiful details in life and to enjoy the small pleasures of everyday life. A slightly alternative postcard is more then welcome. Something that shows the world through a surprising angle and how beautiful the world is. I also enjoy special stamps.

If you like, write me about your favorite food and maybe some eating rituals in your family of country. I am very curious. If you want to send me something more, then you can send your card in an envelope and add a recipe. I will try to make the food then and will let you know how I liked it!

Have fun writing me,
Ciao!
